We are delighted to announce that the registrations for the Super Mario Kart Championship 2023 are now open!
This year, the championships will be held in Vernon (France) between August 28th and September 2nd in collaboration with association GANAM.

To participate the the championships the price will be 35€ per day (food included) and 20€ for spectator, meals are included. Thanks to spectators willing to take the benefit of the meals to register so that the number of meals to prepare can be anticipated.

This year the Trophy Ceremony day will only cost 20€.
GANAM association will also ask for a 5€ participation to cover organisation cost and ensure durability of the event.
So a total of :
- 165 Euros for the whole event as a "player" (35€ x4 + 20€ + 5€)
- 105 Euros for the whole event as a "spectator" (20€ x5 + 5€)

Like every year, the maximum number of participants will be limited to 64 players/day. You can now register on smk championships website (http://www.ffsmk.org/?task=register). Once the registration form filled, you'll receive an automatic email with the payment instructions and the total fees you have to pay. The amount of this fee will increase the later you register, as late registrations incur a lot of extra burden for the organizing team:
15 juin : 2 Euros/day added

15 juillet : 5 Euros/day added

1er août : 8 Euros/day added

If possible thanks to bring any SNES/SMK hardware you can. It is also highly recommended to bring your own SNES pad as it is not guarantee we will be able to lend you one.
The agenda will be as follows:
- Tuesday 29th:  Time Trial
- Wednesday 30th:  Battle Mode
- Thursday 31st: Match Race
- Friday September 1st: Grand Prix 150cc
- Saturday 2nd: Trophy Ceremony + Concert "Ptits Jésus Voyageurs" (Rejemy Music band)
We recommend you to come on Monday evening so that you don't miss the Opening ceremony lunch on Tuesday at 1pm.

Regarding food, meals are included in the registration fees. (breakfast/lunch/dinner)
Beverages (with or without alcohol) will not be included and will have to be handled independantly by each player. A refreshment area will be available in the venue.
For the sleeping part, organizing team will not book anything. However there are multiple possibilities in Vernon and its surroundings (Hotels/AirBnB/gites/...).

The championship will remain open and free for spectators (but no meals will be included). The concert by "Les Ptits Jesus Voyageurs" will also be free.
