And on GP day we probably need to enforce mushroom cup for the really new players. That would cut the time of GS matches in half I suspect?

I am thrilled that evidently you and your team want to have it in Vernon again next year Jeremy, what a great team and venue! 

Considering that the Paris Olympics end on the 11th, I am 100% voting for the latter option (20-24 Aug). My expectation is that so close after the Olympics, the greater Paris area (and airport) will still be flooded with travelers AND will be much more expensive, potentially making the 13-17 Aug option a bit problematic.

You predicted a complete repeat of the podia from 2022....I wonder if this ever happened in the history of CDx.

EDIT: Well, let me answer my own question...it did not. The infamous Battle Mode gold malediction was only broken once, so it already almost completely fails at the gold medal repeat criterium, nevermind silvers and bronzes. The year ScouB won his back to back BM gold the other medalists weren't the same, so no. By the looks of it, it didn't even get really close to ever happening. Would sure be interesting if it did though, even if I would personally prefer other outcomes.

I see your point FF. Good to know the signal can be split. I also agree with Lafungo, they have to be separate.

I just assumed Jarmou's stream would be the main French one as she is the only one putting up the effort to promote it all year long (eSports streamer of the year and all that) and bringing comms (Chacha) and bringing a big SMK oriented audience. But maybe my assumption was wrong. I can see how using a personal channel for a public main stream could raise some eyebrows though, it is not the most ethical thing to do (at face value). I think we would be foolish not to use her (or Mario's) viewerships, especially given the huge investments already made. But I feel it is for the Francophones to figure this out amongst themselves, so I will not get involved in this discussion further.

It is my understanding that the FFSMK Twitch channel was converted into SMK Champs (and therefore no longer "exists"). We might wanna profit from Jarmou's big Twitch following anyway, even if I also understand that using someone's personal Twitch is not optimal for general purposes.

Yes to the last part. I will talk about this with Patrick soon (which laptop he takes exactly still needs to be sorted out for example). And Lafungo and him will take care of the correct sheets being ready on D-day.

Question for FF, can both streams receive the signal from the final stages (at the same time)? I foresee Jarmou wanting to keep streaming to the French audience for the final phases, but I don't think it makes sense to let Sargoth & Vince drop the mic either during those...

Question for Jérémy. Since both streams will have dedicated commentary, can we separate their boots enough spatially so that there is no crosstalk? What is the material that needs to be brought? Microphones, webcams etc? Do you have something there that can be used or should I assume we need to bring everything ourselves?

Maybe limit it to the ffsmk (english) and jarmou (French) streams then?
I hope we have a workable connection for a stream, otherwise I asked Sargoth and Vince to come for "nothing". 

We probably should let both run local recordings simultaneously too in case the stream quality / connection drops from time to time.

This sounds 'perfect', I think it will very elegantly fix some of the issues there indeed are with the ASMKC system (which in and of itself is already pretty great imo)!
