CDM 2019 / Side-tournaments on closing day
« le: 17 juin 2019, à 11:33:22 »
As a way to end the CDM id like to propose a final SMK competition Between Nations.

To the best of my knowledge we have the following nations

UK
USA
France
Netherlands
Germany
Belgium
Norway
Australia
Spain
Sweden
Ireland
Switzerland
Rest of the World - Lafungo

Quick round of TT comprising of one random track from each cup
3 groups of match race, 150cc and Battle

Points awarded on a sliding scale from 12 down to 0 for last

Thoughts?

Usually by the final day everyone is a bit burned out on SMK, we tried to do things like this before but there was a bit less interest. I used to save doing MC1 no pipe jump record attempts on the final day, but even I got bored of that. Thankfully for obvious reasons, this year I don't need to do it which is even better.

More likely some other games will be more fun as we rarely get to see each other and will be a last chance to give a few other things a go. In the past, Circuit breakers along with Street Fighter, F-Zero, Micro Machines, any other fun speed run demos on platformers (Yoshi's Island by Guillaume was always great to watch) are usually the direction to go. Plus a handful of players sometimes have to leave early too on the ceremony day.

That's a good point, if someone has sent the payment but it does not clear at the bank at the far end by Monday, then they would miss the hotel opportunity? Hopefully anybody who is in this position this week can be given the benefit of the doubt and have the hotel still. If they have left the booking until next week then fair enough. They have to arrange it themselves.

I guess it is just the usual human habit (leave everything till the last minute, then rush sorting it out).

In non-nbt category.

Yes, just wondering if it is still 8th factoring in my e-mail on Sunday evening.  ;)

Depends when you update though, i wasnt sure when that would be...

Bowser/Donkey / Records et vidéos personnels !
« le: 23 mai 2019, à 17:13:20 »
Those are very nice improvements! Would be nice to see some videos so we can give some tips.

Je suis vraiment chaud sur cette course, je compte dans les mois qui viennent, truster un ou plusieurs records du monde.

I would like to warn you about concluding too easily that you can hit one or more WRs on this one though. The BC1 Non-NBT WRs are among the most maxed out records in the SMK universe actually. The splits for the 5-lap WR are:

L1 17"92
L2 17"70
L3 17"69
L4 17"69
L5 17"69

It's not that I believe that this is unbeatable (that said, it almost is....), but atm your flap is "72, so you still have a ways to go.  :plume:
The flap of 17"60 might actually be legit unbeatable.  :-X :-X :-X It's a monstrosity for sure.

Agreed, the learning curve is very steep for anything when you are getting close. My ancient 1'29"21 was good for the time, but when I got 1'28" high I noticed the difference already. The 17"65 I had, included a slight mistake in it, I could see doing something very close to the 17"60 at maximum, but not below that.

Battle mode is probably my best chance of a decent finish. So don’t be surprised if a certain Irishman causes some surprises  ;D

And that would be a surprise not featured, as you have also not participated at Battle before with us that will make it interesting!

Y'all are assuming a lot more than you should regarding my being at the CDM at all.

As mentioned at the top there are various players who may or may not be there. So this won't be accurate anyway just a bit of fun.

So on a lighter note, if more dont come, then Ballard and Eric who slipped outside of the Top 25 due to too much NTSC this year and PAL players improving on Battle (just to create some drama on my fictional list) will move up.

CDM 2019 / Qui sera le vainqueur du BM en 2019 ?

Here are my Battle Mode stories for 2019, fiction again probably but could become real!  8)

*Note:  Rumour has it so far that Harold is not taking part in Battle mode, but racing modes only? Is he going away on Thursday then coming back on Friday? Curious... we best not be putting Battle Mode on some random day. Shame cos it could include some funny things. So I left him out in this case. Also I forgot to add Franck Adam to the other modes, I was assuming he isn't coming either, but since he is in the predictions list I will place him in for this occasion / mode only. Also as there hasn't been confirmation of Patrick's occasional Battle Mode entry, I have also not included him here*

So... without further chat chat, lets see the story of... Ze greatest Modé de la Mondé!!!

I'm joking, it Sucks... I mean, sometimes you just don't know what country you are in until you know what they call 'Battle Mode' there.

La Fràncé:  "La modé de la Shitté"  (Ze Frénché pretend they like it, but they don't either - it söcks!)

Nederlands:  "De Mode van der Crap"

Deutschland: (basically, Christian Wild)  "Can you do Time Trial in it? No? It sucks then..."

Those silly Brexit people who live on that Island:  "F**kle Mode" (short for "F**k-All mode"... cos we know F**k all about it really).

Japan:  Staring at me blankly when they realise there was more than 1 track on SMK, let alone another mode.

Americans (excluding Drew / Fenner / Harvey, cos they are... something else):  "That fun mode with the balloons."

Fenner-Land:  "This mode is 2 player?"  :fenner: :-X

Harvey-Land:   "I'll play it after the World ends... again"  0:)

The Planet where Drew comes from:  They know it as 'Battle Mode'... but then again they also eat from the trash as part of a healthy diet. So what do they know? Maybe quite a bit it seems...

So... here is how it all happens:

La Top Four de la  :etoile: :carapacerouge: :carapacerouge: Star-Red-Red  :etoile: :carapacerouge: :carapacerouge: all de la f**king time & refusing to tell anyone how it happens! (you know who they are - lets Name and Shame Them!):

:goldmario:   Julien Holmiere  (We got treated to another round of the greatest battle mode final, with 11-10 in Julien's favour this time! But since they both know all of the Skanque Tactiques equally... the match was fair and very enjoyable!)

:silvermario:   Geoffrey Label  (Look lets face it, he is back, and almost all of you will lose to him. Just put up with it.  ::) )

:bronzemario:   Drew Blumfield  (We told him all day (AGAIN!!!) to stop using Bowser. He didn't listen, but pat on the back for that 3rd Place Medal). While watching the final he was seen eating some Stroopwafels. Guillaume, liking some snacks at this point of the night asked where Drew bought them. Drew replies "Oh, I didn't buy them... I found them outside in the street somewhere... they taste ok......"

4th:   Florent Lecoanet   (One of the most consistent playéurés all day. After a struggle vs Jey and cut down by Julien in the Semi-Final, he was worn out by the time Drew Bowséréd him to win the 3rd place match.)

La Quartés de la finalistés - They get slightly less Star-Red-Reds but are still naughty Skanquérs!:

Jeremy "Jey" Clement   (He was after blood this year on battle mode, even earning a new nickname "Vampire Bat" instead of Jeydi. Maybe an "Evil Batman" / "Evil Bruce Wayne?". He tore the hell out of most players in the poules, then had another massive Battle with Florent de la Roger. The Quarter Final with SMK's very own Federer was epic. Federer batted him down with the Tennis Bat. Or was it Tennis Raquet? Or Rackit? Something like that, my english spelling sucks too - Leyla help me please!).

Sami Cetin  (He was happy for not having to face Geoffrey "Achilles Heel" De La Belle in the Quarter Final! But he had Drew instead... who sent Sami back to MC1 Non-NBT No Pipe Jump where he belongs. Decent Group Stage though - just plays the usual extremely annoying way (that makes you want to pull your hair out) where he runs and hides a lot. But that's better than when he turns the TV volume up to Infinity Decibels and everyone's ears bleed - Battle Mode doesn't matter for that so enjoy that rest. Don't forget your earplugs again for GP Day though).

Conor Wood   (After suffering some struggles on the first two days, Conor picked up his usual deadly Battle Mode form. None of us wanted Geo in the Quarters.. unfortunately it was Conor's turn this time.)

Karel van Duijvenboden  (Despite Timmie training, Battle Mode was tough for the Flying Dutchman, with Franck Adam to face off against. To be Franck, Franck actually DID have the upper hand here, but some tragic random Greens set him up for a loss at 5-4). When Karel saw he had Julien for the Quarter, well.. the phrase "Never Give up!" just doesn't apply to some things in life. Crapple Mode is one of them. Saying that though he took 2 matches out of the 7, and was close on a few more.

La Top 16 de la Battle - The "oh yeah... we fight clean when we play Battle Mode" crew (or do they?)

Franck Adam  (Powerful level again this year, although he had been out of action a while, he still threatened the level of the top players. Karel managed to defeat him in the Top 16 and he got unlucky with "Rondom Greens")

Guillaume Leviach  ("Donc"..."Donc" ..."Donk"..."Donkey Kong"? He almost got fed up with this mode while dreaming of better modes such as Time Trial that he nearly "did a Drew" and used D.K.Jr in Battle Mode for a joke. Luckily he didn't and stayed focused with a decent Battle Mode round. Old rival Conor Wood was in his Top 16 Match and ended his day there, but he went to prepare some GP afterwards and enjoyed the Finals.)

Jonathan Wick "Lafungo" Toole-Charignon   (A great day reaching the Top 16 this year, rubbing it in Christian Wild's face as he didn't make the Top 16. My God this rivalry is getting harsh... Anyway the Top 16 Match was harsh too, it was Timmie vs Sammie basically, and as Sammie is allergic to animal / cat fur we thought he might lose it, but Timmie fell. Everyone starts calling Sami "Sammie" for the rest of the evening, much to his dismay.

Djibril "Tif de la Tif" Aatif   (Battle Mode Specialist fights again and gets his solid Top 16 entry. He tried his best vs Jey this time but unfortunately it wasn't meant to be for this year.)

Kyle Randol  (USA's other Battle Specialist had high hopes for this mode again but the crowd came prepared. He made it to the Top 16 nonetheless and enjoyed supporting Drew the rest of the way. He had a nice run vs Florent as well but Florent comfortably won 5-1).

Thibault Terrasson  (Made a nice performance this round with some solid wins and had the honour of facing the Bitcoin Betting, Trashcan Tasting, Bowser Battling, "Yaque de la Mountàinés". Thibault knowning it was going to be an uphill battle thought, what if he could take Drew down in the Top 16? Allez! Drew took it lightly at the beginning, losing a round but eventually cutting down Terrasson after a few more matches where they were both down to less balloons.

Leyla Hasso  (Made it to the Top 16 and was happy; she was hoping to challenge Sami but instead had a sparring Match with Geo; the result was expected but perhaps she will learn some great moves from one of the Grand Masters.)

Sophie Jarmouni  (Belgium's Champion fought her way through to the Top 16 which was a goal; but the journey was a nightmare. All day it was "NON JARMOUUU!" or "Putain de la  :carapacerouge:" or Putain de la Rondom  :carapaceverte:" or "Putain de la  :banane:" or "Putain de la  :fenner:". Wait that's not meant to be there, who left a Fenner in Battle Mode?) By the time she faced Julien, it was the only match she relaxed on.

La Playéurés de la Honoràblés, Non de la Top 16, but got skanqued into the 17th - 20th position

Chris Clark  (Put in a great fight this time, and was very close to the Top 16 during the Match vs Sophie. Clark used clean fighting tactics throughout the day and had fun.)

Salim Araissia  (The "Evil Robin" to Jey's "Evil Batman"... The 2nd half of the Dynamic Duo wasn't favouring Battle Mode as much as Racing Modes this year. But he gave his all and certainly gave his rivals and good shake after the shake-down. He won a key GP Match vs rival Leyla last year, but she took him in Battle Mode playoffs this time to secure her Top 16.)

Aron Langerak  (Didn't lose his pad all day... he might as well have done as it is not like this mode matters. In fact he did so well he wasn't far from the Top 16, facing Thibault Terrasson to a close result but losing out there.)

Christian Wild  (Christian is not at home with Battle Mode but was determined to not lose too many points here; Kyle Randol ended his chances to slip back up to the Top 16. GP 150cc tomorrow... Christian smiles at that thought.)

La Playéurés de la Honoràblés, 21st - 24th ranks "It wasn't fair it was ze Rondom  :carapaceverte: :carapaceverte: :carapaceverte:

Jeremy "Deadline" Edline   (Jeremy has done some great records on Time Trials over the last year and is beginning to work on the Multiplayer modes more; Battle will improve further soon and he put in a great match).

Martin van Haasteren   (Also not a Battle Mode Mega-Fan but we heard he can play a round of Battle Mode while balancing a ball on his head, that's impressive!)

Come "Legendary" Legendre  (Spent too much time going on and on about the "Level" of all of the Top players and how amazing it is, he forgot to concentrate in his own battles enough. This caused him to lose the chance for the Top 16 he promised us last year. He re-iterates the Top 16 Battle Mode promise for 2020 during the Closing ceremony. Sami asked him to join Time Trial again. Come says "I will" and still doesn't do it.)

Jerome Coiffard  (Mr Coyferd, my main man, there you are! The Time Trial man had some fight in him for Battle Mode this year and made the Mini Qualifiers. He had a positive smile on his face).

Non Cry :'( de la 25th Place la Battle. Cos the mode sucks anyway.

Adam "Not so Dark Horse this time" Ferguson   (Team UK's Cumbria Challenger went into Battle not knowing what it will be like and sometimes that helps, he improvised and did well, 25th being a great result for doing so the first time!)

Player we didn't realise was there... Sort of..:

Cedric Leutwyler:  (He was competing from his home. He needed the chair to be that far away from the TV in Alphen. Sadly he couldn't find a long enough cable for the SNES controller to connect across countries to one of the consoles. But Daniel "The most powerful Red Mage of FF" Guemy built one with all the material he has and made it happen. It kept cutting out though so he lost to everyone except for Nhi Tran who slept all day again.)

Someone else who didn't turn up:

BYE - Chris Clark's friend from SNESOT, was supposed to come today but didn't show, and van der Valk Avifauna hotel claims there is no one by that name staying there. Strange. So we have no idea where BYE is but apparantly he will turn up for GP Mode.

Other Silly / Strange / Wonderful things that happened on Battle Mode day

Great Food - Lars Nouwen introduces Drew to some great food that is cooked in an oven / sauce pan / frying pan and not from a Trash can. And... he... liked it... hooray!! No meat though... Drew only eats that from the floor (reference - the Frankfurter / Hot Dog at CDE 2008).

The Cappuccino / Earl Grey Situation - Sami finishes the Esports bar's entire stock of Cappucino and Earl Grey tea. Thankfully they ordered more for GP day.

Fortnite - Gets Banned Forever - Just kidding... Yeah we wish!

Battle Mode Overall - I know we joke a lot about Battle Mode sucking but all in all on a serious note, we did have a lot of fun today, with great friends there and that's the important thing!

To be continued on the GP thread...

CDM 2019 / Qui sera le vainqueur du MR en 2019 ?
« le: 17 mai 2019, à 13:17:10 »
Here are my Match Race stories for 2019, fiction again probably but could become real!  8)

La Top Four Match Race de la Shitté:

:goldmario:   Julien Holmiere  (Will be known as 'God de la Match Race Unstoppablé  (or van der Unstoppable - as we are in Alphen technically)). No lightnings, just solid driving and technique throughout.

:silvermario:   Florent Lecoanet  (Tried his best but Julien was a level higher this time again. But he walks up to Karel and shows off his Silver Medal #NoMoreSilversForKarel)

:bronzemario:   Karel van Duijvenboden  (Fight to the death Timmie / HOG 3rd Place match which went to the wire! The winner gets named after their training project. Karel being victor 9-8, gets nicknamed 'Timmie van Duijvenboden' forever and hates it; and also hates his Bronze Medal cos he wanted another Silver).

4th:   Jonathan Wick "Lafungo" Toole-Charignon   (Was so close to his first medal and pressure got to him... Sami finds Lafungo with his head down on a table again. Sami asked Lafungo if he is crying. He said "no it's just water in my eyes". Sami gives him a hug and tells him he did really well, we've all had the big match pressure somewhere, and Top 4 is a huge climb from previous years. Never give up!)

La Quartés de la finalistés:

Geoffrey Label   (Excellent return this year, but some driving mistakes cost him a few key races against Lafungo who did a major surprise!).

Sami Cetin  (Clearly all those lightnings 10 years ago was just... ze luck). And even driving didn't get him past Karel in Match race of ASMKC, and it won't either this year on the PAL version Match Race 2019 (Timmie HOG training paying off well which is deserved). Sami retreats to get drunk on Earl Grey tea and Cappuccino at the bar during the Semi-Finals. Then later heads to console a friend who loses the 3rd place Match (see above)).

Jeremie "Jey" Clement   (Jey was a solid contender throughout group stage and taking down Conor in a viscous Top 16 round that had everyone on the edge of their seats on the last 2 races. Jey wasn't so solid vs Florent though...)

Harold Christensen  (Open ze door, ze Skankmaster is back!! Julien slams ze door shut for poor Harold though 7-0).

La Top 16 de la Match Race - some serious racing

Guillaume Leviach  (A driving master took on a Skankmaster and... got skanked this time.)

Conor Wood   (O0 Solid results in the Group Stage as always, but Jey was going to be a tough opponent. Battle Mode the next day though!)

Leyla Hasso  (The Uncle-Niece Match... and after she takes a nice 2-0 lead, she loses 5-2. Guess what annoying de la shitté thing happened after? *cough*  :eclair: :eclair: :eclair:  *cough*)

Aron Langerak  (Didn't lose his pad... but he lost something else... the Match Race to Geo. Then he walked off and didn't find his pad again until 10 seconds before Battle Mode Starts the next day.)

Christian Wild  (Chris drove too recklessly, an entertaining Match for sure which Lafungo won 5-4! Lafungo rubs it in his face for the 2018 fiasco causing him to become 11th Overall then, and says some prepared German words if this would happen: "Es war eine süße Rache". But it's not over for Christian Wild. Wait.)

Sophie Jarmouni  (Belgium vs Netherlands Champions take each other on; it was 5-0 to Karel but most races actually became very close, with Sophie screaming "NON JARMOUUUU!!!!" at the top of her voice and various other swear words the moment she crashed / got hit by an item etc.)

Martin van Haasteren   (Solid driving throughout Group Stage again, took a race off Florent but lost to experience.)

Adam "This is the Dark Horse" Ferguson   (Team UK's secret weapon was very chuffed to reach the Top 16 on Match Race! Until he saw he had Julien on the bracket for the Top 16 match. "Errr... just do your best!" - everyone said to him before the Match started.)

La Honorable Playéurés, Non de la Top 16, but crashed out van der 17th - 20th Barrage round:

Salim Araissia   (Had some bad luck in the Group Stage Matches, and then crashed out a few harder tracks vs Team UK Dark Horse, Adam)

Jerome Coiffard   (Very fast Time Trial Player, but the items are still preventing him from advancing.)

Jeremy "Deadline" Edline   (Good performance this time and is improving techniques, Top 16 2020?).

Drew Blumfield   (Drew, how is Match Race going? "Yeaaahhh.... it's ok"... We ask him a silly question... He's clearly not bothered and just wants it to be Battle Mode day already.)

La Honorable Playéurés, 21st - 24th ranks / barrage van der crashéd

Matt Ballard   (Very good driving but got skanked by Drew's items on key tracks)

Paul O'Kelly  (He had a lot of fun today on his Match Race Debut! He lost to big rival Jeremy Edline but was happy to reach the Top 24 Qualifiers.)

Chris Clark   (Do not underestimate the Power of the Clark Side. Coyferd cuts Clark down though.)

Eric Olden   (Drove steadily to reduce crash rate during group stage and this helped along with item usage. Salim's Multiplayer experience was a bit too much to win this time though)

Crying de la 25th Place la Match Race. Non Qualifié at all.

David Moll  (Items suck and so does PAL Version, Plus GP is more fun so he wasn't too bothered.)

Assuming Harold might be attending for multiplayer modes as I heard, and also not including others who may register later so we may need to revise this all again.*

CDM 2019 / Qui sera le vainqueur du TT en 2019 ?
« le: 16 mai 2019, à 13:14:30 »
La Top Four Time Trial de la Shitté:

:goldmario:   Karel van Duijvenboden  (starts a Gold streak that will never end.. and everyone shuts up about the whole Silver thing... forever)

:silvermario:   Julien Holmiere  (This ruined the Grand Slam but he didn't realise it till after GP finishes)

:bronzemario:   Guillaume Leviach  (Scream if you need anything)

4th:   Florent "Neo" Lecoanet   (La calmness de la Federér)

La Quartés de la finalistés:

Aron Langerak   (Managed to lose his pad in between the 1st and 2nd tracks, even though it was plugged in and he didn't leave his seat).

Martin van Haasteren  (Played while juggling 3 invisible balls at the same time, and holding a cup of coffee in one of his hands).

Sami Cetin  (Improved from last year!! Though GV3 came back in the quarters anyway.... and... yeah  :'( )

Jonathan Wick "Lafungo" Toole-Charignon   (Project Timmie / House of Gaming / need we say more?)

La Top 16 de la Crashed out - But happy to make it here

Jeremie "Jey" Clement  (The powerful Jeydi is just biding his time... wait till he gets on to the Mutliplayer modes)

Geoffrey de la Belle  (He used a Star-Red-Red on Time Trial, somehow)

Adam "This is the Dark Horse" Ferguson   (Team UK's secret weapon - though Sami didn't meet him yet but some of the rest have)

Christian Wild  (Drove both Top 16 tracks at World Record pace in one try then crashing in lap 5 both times)

Jerome "Coyferd" Coiffard  (Sits next to Mike Hulscher for the 4th time and still doesn't remember who he is)

Leyla Hasso  (Uncle Sami regains the UK 1 try title on PAL again... (...for this year anyway  :-X)

Sophie Jarmouni  (Drives brilliantly whilst also training her team!)

Conor Wood   (O0 Says he probably won't qualify on Time Trial but always does it anyway O0)

Some Playerés de la didn't quite make the Top 16:

Matt Ballard   (The curse of just missing the Top 16! But it will be the last time)

Jeremy "Deadline" Edline   (registers a bit late this year, but just in time for 30th June, as with Matt falls just short of the Top 16).

David Moll   (MK64 is better... and NTSC anything! P.s - I owe you a beer / drink of your choice, find me at the bar when I'm having my Earl Grey tea)

Salim Araissia   (A few missed zoom starts in group stage but getting warmed up for racing)

Eric Olden   (A few more missed zoom starts in group stage on key tracks but a wonderful CI2 one try)

Paul O'Kelly  (Brilliant first attempt at Time Trial One Tries and close to Top 16 - knows what to do for 2020)

Chris Clark   (Zarkov approved - 'BYE' from SNESOT will train him next year)

Michael Sumner   (No jet lag)

Several other players can get up there, but don't know if they will register or not? Maybe we should do all these predictions again by the end of July or so. Then we know pretty much who is coming as it can change things a lot.  ;)

Last Place On Time Trial

Nhi Tran Quang   (Fell asleep during the opening ceremony (Sophie had to carry him on stage when Belgium was called up). We didn't bother waking him till the TT medals were handed out, hence missing the entire mode)). The tiredness was caused by Jet Lag travelling from Belgium to Netherlands.

Question about the hotel.
I don't do sharing rooms, if I were to book myself my own room at the same hotel (I assume its the Van der Valk Hotel Avifauna) seperately, would I still be able to use the 'taxi' service or would I have to make my own way to/from the hotel?

Good point, I'll ask Thomas about this :)

If it's not possible, you might consider an airbnb arrangement?

Hi Sophie, I e-mailed a few questions to FFSMK yesterday, waiting for reply. I will ask here as well as it is similar situation.

Conor, Leyla and I already booked our room at van der Valk Avifauna. So can I make a separate payment to FFSMK for 3 of us to use the transports? Please check with Thomas and let us know how much and I will add that on or send a 2nd payment after the main fees.

So basically we are using the limited package which was 100 Euros each. But would need to pay the difference for the transports but not for a hotel room again as we arranged that already.

Also, no PayPal this time? Is it bank transfer only?

Thanks,

EDIT:  I just made the bank transfer for 3 of us, the bank needed the FFSMK Organisation's Registered Address. I think I gave an old expired address by mistake as I couldn't find it on the FFSMK site (I am sure it is there somewhere I just didn't have time to look hard enough), but the IBAN number is correct and they found the bank's address so hopefully it arrives. Please can you check if it arrives in the next week so I know and hopefully don't have to visit them again.

Also ideally if we can use PayPal or something next time it will be easier like last year - for the transport to venue as we only need to sort that out.

You consideration is very sweet Sami, but il think we'll all be ok. Weve all survived ~25 summers so far and were all still here and were going to the Netherlands, not the Sahara Desert.

Also Mike, im def interested in renting a bike for a week. The place il be staying is about 3km away from the venue which I dont mind walking everyday but id prefer to cycle if I could.

Yeah we'll be fine but just that we had an unusually long heatwave last summer. Most CDMs we are very close to the venue so we are close to shade within a few minutes walk. This is just to avoid walking in open air for too long if it did get really hot. Bringing a parasol would be another solution but Karel's and Mike's proposals will suffice anyway.

CDM attendees: As I heard last year that for some people, the travel to the venue was a bit too long or otherwise inconvenient, I figured it might be a nice idea to rent a bycicle for some people.
I have found that is probably possible here for a decent price, but before I gather more information I would like to first ask here if there is any interest in that and maybe get an indication on how many people would be interested.
Obviously so I can get try to get some type of barter deal if possible.

You might have noticed it is all flat over here and there are a lot seperate bycicle lanes which makes it quite safe to go around by bike.
My first guess is it might be around or just north of 50 euro's for 5 days and people staying at the same place could possibly share one (assuming they have back seats)

Karel was also going to speak to Thomas(?) if that was the gentleman's name, about arranging the taxis / pickup from van der Valk. Though this could be a good alternate if some players are staying across other parts of the town. Main thing would be if we do have an extreme heatwave (or less likely, rain), so no one gets sunstroke on the way to the venue. Most CDMs we have had near 30c and last summer was very hot for too long.
