Un tour sorti de nulle part. J'adore GV3, donc j'avais décidé de continuer dessus, pour le sub 1'15"50 en non-NBT. Je suis extrêmement régulier sur cette course, pour preuve mon top 5, et mes splits habituellement en 15"3X et quatre 15"0X (alors que mon flap était encore en 14"98). Je m'attendais donc à un cut minime.

Eh bien non, durant une vingtaine de minutes j'étais en état de grâce, l'esprit de Rub est descendu sur moi . D'abord ce crash :

Puis celui-ci encore pire :

J'ai enchainé ensuite plusieurs tentatives avec des 14"9X réguliers en middle lap. Et puis voilà. Ensuite l'extase s'est terminée, et je suis revenu à mes 15"0X et mes 1'15"5X. Dommage donc de pas avoir pu concrétiser ce moment de folie avec un 5laps. Heureusement la grosse surprise du flap fait passer la pilule. Mon 14"84 NBT d'hier fait un peu pitié maintenant . J'ai quand même fini un 5 laps : 1'15"44 . Et même si les crashs du dessus sont rageants, je suis bien content d'être dans la 1ère moitié des 1'15"XX. C'était une barrière un peu emblématique pour moi. En gros > 1'15"5X c'est encore la moitié de ceux qui ont galéré à descendre sous les 1'16"00 (et j'en faisais encore partie il y a peu). Tandis que < 1'15"5X c'est qu'on commence à gérer la course à mon sens . Mes splits :

Aujourd'hui c'est la bonne! Après quelques tentatives hier, j'arrive à concrétiser ce que je recherchais : le sub 0'59"00 !! J'ai d'abord commencé par égaler quatre fois mon flap, dont deux fois dans la même course . Puis après, petit creux, j'arrive plus trop à enchainer. Je continue donc, mais sans mon ghost en 0'59"10, histoire de relâcher la pression. Et puis j'arrive finalement à ça : (mais avec quand même une putain de pression au dernier tour )

Je me souviens d'une vieille conversation MSN que j'avais eu avec Clbrun, où on discutais de l'établissement des nouveaux standarts (à l'époque de l'ouverture du site non-NBT il me semble). Je lui disais : "tu crois vraiment qu'on peut faire 0'58"XX à CI1"  en étant sûr que non. Si on m'avait dit que c'est moi qui y arriverait, je vous aurez pris pour des fous !

Après une douzaine de 11"68 et un 11"66 j'arrive finalement à mes fins. Le pire c'est que je trouvais mon 11"66 meilleur . J'ai donc continué un petit peu, mais je n'ai fait "qu'un" 11"65 après ça . Les trois sont en vidéo pour comparer.

Assuming you didn't get the sub 59 in your first couple of tries, you must have  had one HELL of a marathon session judging by the times you posted them...19h33 for the sub 59 and 2h51 for the flap!!  Unless you made a big break in between, that is a truly Pierre-esque session...

Haha . No, don't worry, I made no marathon. I started to play around 18h for the 5 laps. After the WR I stopped. I played again for the flap after midnight (I was bored before the school starts again...).

Yup I was aware, as I might prefer such stats over for example Average Finish, as Total Times are a more absolute statistic which is not dependent on the actions of others.

It depens on the PR, or maybe on your impression about the PR.

Oh absolutely of course, I should have specified that. I ALWAYS quit after I reach a certain target I was after, even if I might have room for more. I don't quit the session if the new PR falls short of this target...in that case I will either get the target or stop before I get it because I get bored or run out of time.  Btw. are you saying that the 11"64 didn't feel good enough yet?!

Well, speaking about impression, as I said when I posted it, my precedent 11"66 had a better impact on me . Well, I'll check, I'm gonna transfer my videos on my laptop. But 11"61 should be possible (well, Rub speaks about 11"89 openers, so why not? ). I drove some sick corners one by one, but never all together in the same lap .
