By the way, last night Florent told me not to play any more MC1 cos i might lose my sanity... i agreed and was gona sleep.

But then i went to play anyway and did this:

au prochain CDM, j'essayerai de tenir le choc pendant les matchs de phase finale en GP derrière Mario, histoire d'inscrire tous les temps qu'il fera (j'ai dit "tenir le choc" parce que j'espère qu'il jouera mieux que contre Karel l'année dernière, ça risque d'être désagréable sinon ...  )

enfin, s'il y a des affiches + intéressantes en 8-ème et en 1/4, voir jouer Mario ne sera plus ma priorité  (et puis, si ça se trouve, je vais jouer cette année en 8-ème  )

You can of course write some of your old best times that you remember, at least you can gain what you achieved back then (1'01"86 and 12"21 MC1 for example?). And any others...

So yes Non-NBT you can fill up the rest of the times easily, take your time when you are ready you can send.

La Furia Roja:   Again that is up to Baptiste to decide; but i remember a conversation with him in 2007 Fun Cup, he said to me he had played a lot MC1 when he was younger and reached to 1'01"96, but didnt play too much the other tracks. But of course it would be great some day to have Baptiste join also, he is a legend and the big rival of Sean "Shen!" Billingsley at the CDM.

For my old MC1 times (12"21 and 1'01"89 for sure), I will do better now with some boosts! But yes I will start with the more difficult ones and perhaps keep those ones if I've got enough...

J'avais essayé un peu, mais j'ai été assez vite dégouté par le résultat... Mais c'est toujours prévu, simplement il faudra que j'y consacre vraiment du temps. Par ailleurs je pense que je bougerai jouer avec des champions à ce moment-là!

1'01"89 is not valid on the PAL chrono, so it was probably 1'01"88. I definitely remember it was in the 1'01"8x anyway, so 1'01"88...

Yes, start with the harder tracks maybe and work backwards from Special Cup or something. Also, keep a paper next to the snes, you know sometimes the SMK cartridges wipe the memory when you switch it off. Just incase you do some nice Special Cup and Star Cup times but forget to write them down and it is deleted the next time you switch on snes. Doesnt normally happen but sometimes... just something to remember... Good luck!

I can't believe that after that first SHITTY 4/5 of 1'01"67 I drove another really crappy race as my first 5/5...but maybe I should keep my complains to myself, as a full platform race here is pretty insane as it is and becoming champ again aint bad either.   
Cutting only one tenth on the previous WR with 2 extra platforms still feels bad though.
