Bon je copie l'explication de Zarkov sur le forum anglais pour pouvoir jouer en ligne à smk.
J'ai la flemme de traduire, peut-être Mario, le plus anglais des français, le traduira....
1) Right, first off you need two programmes. Zsnes and Hamachi. You can get Zsnes
here. You need to download version
1.42 as its the latest version which enables online play. Its the third line down. I assume most people here are using either Windows or a Mac, which are the first two columns. Once downloaded, unzip/extract it and put the .exe in a folder of its own. I called mine "zsnes142" for easy reference.
2) Next, you need Hamachi (the client which enables a connection between the people you want to play against online). You can get Hamachi
here. Download and install. Il go into what you need to do in regards to Hamachi a bit later on.
3) Lastly, you need the ROMs. There is a handy link for all the SMK ROMs used online
here. Download, and unzip/extract into your zsnes142 folder. As a note,
all your roms must be kept in the same folder as your zsnes.exe file otherwise zsnes will not recognise them and you wont be able to play. (Please refer to the above image. You can see all the ROMs in he same folder as the zsnes exe.)
Ok, so thats all of what you need to play online. Now for some points on HOW to play online.
1) First off, you need to connect to Hamachi. Fire it up, and click the large power on button. After a few seconds, it will connect. It will give you some first time use stuff. Once youve read those, you will have the option to
Join or
Create a network. You only need to join one for now. To do this, click
Network, then
Join existing network. A box will appear with two fields to fill in. Where it says Network ID, enter the name of the network you want to join. For now, ive setup a network you can join just to show you the ropes. This network is called
Noobs Guide. Where it says Password, enter
zarkov, the password for this network. Then click join.
You will now see everyone else connected to this network. As the image below shows, there is a green dot followed by a username, then a number which looks much like an IP address. (If the dot is blue, it means you have a
relayed connection instead of a
Direct Connection) In short, blue means lag. There are ways to cure this, but if you have the latest version of Hamachi and dont have too much of a strict ass firewall you will most likely not see this. Only worry if
all the people you see in the networks youre in have blue dots next to their name. If only one or two do, then the problem is at their end and not yours.
Ok, nearly done. With that done, fire up zsnes. Before connecting online with anyone, you need to setup your controller/keyboard buttons. This only has to be done once, its saved thereafter until you want to change it. Do this by clicking
Config, then
Input #1. Click
Keyboard/Joystick. Then, click each small box and enter the key you wish it to be. Its all pretty straightforward and self explainatory.
Now for the good stuff. Playing online. Click
Netplay, then
Internet. This is where you need to pay attention. You will see a long box with
IP next to it. Enter the number you see next to the player you want to play against name. You can either
host a game, or connect to the other person. Once youve filled in the IP number, click either
Start as Server or
Connect to Server for whatever you are doing. If you are going to host, click Start as Server. If you are going to join click Connect to Server. (Hamachi has an inbuilt IM service so you can easily discuss with your opponent who is going to host)
NB: Dont uncheck the box marked "Use UDP instead of TDP". Im not sure what it does, but if unchecked it causes lag. So leave it alone.
If successful, you will see this screen. You are almost there. You will see a chatbox, and a few other options. Leave all the other options alone apart from where it says
Latency. ALWAYS click this down to 1, otherwise you will experience horrible lag, and the game wont play like it should.
Now all that is left, apart from some essential trash talk, is to load the game. Either of you can click
Load (which is found under
Game, select the ROM and start the game. Once this is done, the game will load for both of you and you are now playing online!
A few other less important points. To chat whilst playing a game with someone press
T on your keyboard, and type away.
PAL ROMs always have (E) [!] at the end, NTSC ROMs always have (U) [!] at the end.
Ok thats it. Either sticky this, or put it in a thread on its own, or ignore it. I dont mind.
