Citation de: Fabrice Baro le 22 février 2018, à 15:14:57I agree with Johan: no need to have complicated filters, etc. Just add 2 more lists: PAL non-NBT, NTSC non-NBT. I mean the other MK sites have such distinctions, so no big deal imho. For the opener WRs and video links, I think they are very valuable and we should try not only to keep them but also extend to the general chart. Are the WR pages generated from the #1 time for each track? Or is it manually edited? Could we add a manually edited column for the opener WRs? If I could have the source code (and a copy of the DB) I could give it a try This is low priority of course and should stop us from doing the migration.I dont have access to the background coding and some of the technical components as it is related to all of the Mario Kart players sites for important security reasons, so I agreed with Alex that he would look after that separately. The WRs are linked in with the charts / database and not manually done as a standalone. The opener WRs and video links definitely wouldn't be joined in to the database as they would need to be manually input each time from a database level which will not be feasible with the current setup Otherwise the entire database for all the other Mario Karts except for MK64 / MK8 will need a complete overhaul. In case anyone asks, I have had problems with the MK8 page and sometimes it is very slow, so I wouldn't recommend that system either. So the Opener WRs / videos etc needs to be kept on a separate page. There are already other WR pages and things existing on the side of the players sites, not just the Non-NBT site, but also mkwrs.com for example. So it doesnt hurt to keep some pages on the side and managed separately, or simply the forums.I know this sounds exciting but please know that it isn't something we would rush and do quickly hypothetically speaking. I will take some time to think of some database ideas I have in my mind before even discussing with Alex. There will always be more to think of in the end than the obvious. Please leave that with me and allow some time. Thanks
