The plan is to get taxis from the hotel no matter what the weather is.
But we still have to discuss with the hotel exactly what that deal will be (in terms of extra costs yes or no).

The room used for the trophies last year will be used as a chill zone. When the door is closed, the noise level should be ok there.

How would the meal planning work ?

Every single player has to go to the Lars', order, eat there and finally go back ? or would the meal be "ordered" and delivered to the venue ? (also has to know who wants what in advance so this can work)

I can't picture that ~50 people go to Lars', order, wait for preparation, eat, go back and expect that the whole process would be quick (champ schedule, etc...)

Don't get me wrong, I'd love to go to a restaurant, eat and chill there every day at CDM

No the choice of meal will be like when it's delivered. So known in advance. All the variation in that will be vegetarian options and food allergy based that has to be clarified in advance when registering. We will walk to the place when the food is roughly ready, we have an entire wing for us. There is a 90 min break for dinner usually, the walking takes 10 mins (5 and 5 back), 20 when we count having to wait for Aron. 

Alternatively it all gets delivered at the arena like last year, but Lars told me he prefers hosting us. And I personally think it's no problem; in fact it would be a nice moment of the day for a change of scenery.

no problem for me to walk (i really like walk). but, if i came from train station (with my luggage) i don't really want to walk 30 min  to go to the hostel

so, is the hostel taxi can be available for 2 times ? (the time when we arrive to the cdm and the second when we leave at the end of the cdm ?)

i think a good break (in another place) is a good idea

Just be careful in case we're late on the schedule (it arrived one time in 2018, we launch diner when player continue to play for gain time). but maybe lars can delivered meal in this specific case ? (if it exceptionally arrive)

Not for you and I maybe, but for people having to deal with chronic fatigue and/or anxiety disorder a half hour walk everyday can be quite a hassle to put it lightly. Not saying this against Alphen just pointing out that this is an actual issue for some.

i just have a small issue,

one week ago i discuss with Jarmou about all the "hidden costs" (witch you must know and take in count) and the generic cost of a cdm.

so with theses new costs, (i'm a treasurer in soul  ) i keep don't understand how it's possible to keep this price of subscription 

i've made a lot of calculation and i didn't understand how you can be positive in the end of the cdm.

i don't want to denigrate, just understand and be reassured, because for me it's a real, real important point.

We 'only' know the costs per person for aspects such as venue, food and hotel (and that's all looking better than last year). But we didn't decide on an operating margin right, correct me if I'm wrong (Sophie)?

EDIT Lars is offering a deal that will cost 8,50€/day for lunch and dinner (iso 17,50€ with the Arena) which will bring the total cost to 86€ if people find their own place to sleep

i'm a little lost with the main topic.. (a lot of edit  ) but here is what i understand : the first price for a whole cdm was 120Euros and now it's 86 Euros

Also, Esports are looking at more sponsors to see if we can reduce the subscription fee. I'm meeting with Thomas again the coming weeks to see. But that's not sure of course, so the costs given in the topic are accurate for now.
