Although it was not an "official" championship, I think that it is worthwhile to mention that some ARs were beaten during SMKAS. In particular, three "official" ARs were beaten: DP3 1'47"36 by Sjors, RR 1'49"90 by Barker, and VL1 1'04"91 by Jey. What makes this (even more) interesting is that these three marks were set back-to-back-to-back! DP3 was the 4th track played in LKS, RR was the 5th, and VL1 was the 6th. Also, despite these impressive performances, only Sjors was directly eliminated because of them, as the Top 8 began with RR, and all remaining players had just been given a second life.
I must say that I find it rather unsurprising that the VL1 AR was beaten, as it is very likely the weakest of the lot.
If these times were to count as "official" ARs, then Karel would lose his only AR (and 2014 would no longer be represented), and Sjors and Barker would make their first appearances in the table. More importantly, Jey would join the cercle très fermé of players with more than 1 AR, whereas MJ and Jarmou would be kicked out of said cercle.
