It was setup later (after the announcements) to accommodate some players that couldn't sort their international bank transfers out and also it costs 10 euros extra. It's basically the plan B, though perhaps it should indeed be plan A as it is so much more convenient.

Guys we are trying our best to avoid extra useless costs. And 10€ might be a problem for some people.

Plus, Esports Game Arena did not have a Paypal account before we specifically asked them to create one to allow non European players to pay they registrations. But it bothers them as well for some reason about taxes and comptability.

there are always bank fees for internationnal payment (whatever it's paypal or a bank transfer) it's the same problem each year.

but the ffsmk must anticipate this kind of situation, and it is clearly not normal to ask players to pay the difference.

It's part of organisatorial costs isn't it? Why should it be the FFSMK that pays for that?

People like Moll wanna use PayPal as it's more convenient, I say let them, but at their own expense. Same reason I order takeout food, it's easy but therefore more expensive. I don't really see the problem, sorry.

Yeh for me it was all about convenience, I could have done the bank transfer for free but it was more difficult (international bank transfers from UK banks tend to require a lot of additional information). For me 10 euro is nothing, so wasn't fussed to pay a little extra to to all the hassel of having to deal with my bank. For people who care about 10 euro, they can still pay using their bank (and for most people it will be a darn site easier to make the payment than my bank makes it).

just because previous years, ffsmk include these fee (paypal or bank transfert) directly and didn't ask the players to pay theses specific fees (like in 2018, we didn't ask players to pay fees of paypal).

Juste pour vous rappeler que le 30 juin c'est la deadline pour les inscriptions, au-delà de cette date, des frais supplémentaires s'appliqueront à raison de 5€ par jour de retard.

Autant j'ai un gros doute sur le fait d'arriver à une cinquantaine de joueurs inscrits pour la 5è année de suite (j'espère me tromper), autant je suis vraiment ravi de voir une participation féminine absolument record pour l'instant, avec déjà 6 joueuses (on n'en a jamais eu autant je crois) sur 35 participations confirmées pour le moment

On est encore loin d'une quelconque parité certes, mais un ratio de (environ) 16-17% de joueuses sur la totalité des compétiteurs engagés, je trouve ça vraiment cool

I agree, it's great to see a decent percentage of women. That said, Holly (my other half) is fairly new to the game. She isnt that great yet at all (think SMKFan level), but she is practicing after I told her I signed her up for TT lol. Her aim is not to finish last!
